New Porsche Museum Stuttgart

Unique architecture – fascinating media technology
All of the media technology in the Porsche Museum is as dynamic as the overall concept of the museum itself. So it is designed to leave the door open to the many possibilities of the future. The flexible, rolling museum is based on an intelligent multimedia network featuring a highly innovative state-of-the-art concept: a client/server solution. As each rotating exhibit comes into place, in an instant matching information is made ready for presentation on any of the media display panels. The same applies to information broadcast through the wireless audio guides.

Spectacular media content
Sound is showered on the listener to simulate life-like engine noise for each car model, with a vibrating floor to play to the emotions. Information on each vehicle is displayed on LED ring panels mounted in parabolic casings. Another highlight: the LED installation on the 917 exhibit – a giant digital screen providing a seamless transition between the floor and the wall, thus completely merging into the architecture.

Multifunctional and flexible
The Porsche Museum also includes a multifunctional conference area for all kinds of events such as product presentations or even arts events. The facility can be used for internal or external purposes. There is a large room which can be partitioned as desired with horizontal sliding screens and projectors, thus maximising the number of ways to adapt the room to usage requirements.
