New buildings in Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken

 

The Max-Planck Institute of Software Systems is building one new building each at its locations in Kaiserslautern and Saarbrücken. The buildings are currently in the carcass stage.

The MPI-SWS makes innovative communication equipment a top priority. Presentations and training sessions by HD video conference are the standard here. Therefore, the buildings should also be equipped with state-of-the-art and innovative presentation and communication technology.  High-quality components should be used to meet the demands of the users.

Example: "Real Life" tele-presence

Video technology: Presentation wall arranged as a 2x3 Steglos Display Array, 2 HD finger cameras, video conference system, image computer, Audio equipment: "Sound showers for direct sound projection of video conference participants, wire-connected microphones. Media control system" with a fixed 8" touch panel (usage for service purposes), control of the facility management equipment (light, darkening, etc.) via touch panel.

Installation technology: Installation of the central components in an integrated substructure; Installation equipment;

floor/ceiling/wall.
